Meet "T."

No first name, no last name. Only a single letter could describe one of the premiere artists of our time.

He's only 3 (almost 4), but has been taking pictures for nearly half his life. "T" is best known for his outstanding use of motion blur,

but has wowed critics with his other works as well. His diverse portfolio includes captivating macros...
....emotional portraits that peer into the very souls of his subjects...
...the thought-provoking use of sun flare...
...and breathtaking landscapes...
I had the pleasure of sitting down with "T" earlier this morning. When asked how he would describe his incredible work, he replied, "Hmmmm, I can't tell," and without another word, strode off to continue his other passion: dumping out all of the toys in his toy bin.

I am deeply moved and truly inspired.

I have been checking out your blog for a couple months. I am an aspiring photog, and your work so inspires me. You capture so much love!

I just wanted to tell you how very much I love this post of your son's photos. I used to give my (now grown) kiddos disposable cameras all the time. It was fun to see what they shot. So many great memories of what they see through their little eyes. I particularly love the one with the guy lying on the couch with his head cut off!

That was awesome! Your *T* and my *A* should shoot together some time. *A* has quite a similar style. (gosh, now that I wrote that it doesn't sound quite right....lol! *A* is my 4 year old, Annika).

My fave of *T*'s work is the motion blur with you running after what appears to be a naked child....LOL!

Wow, Mr. "T" is such an inspiration! It just goes to show that all you have to do is just shoot what interests you. I spend so much time thinking of composition and f-stops to get the right effect. I guess the true trick is "point and shoot". The rest will naturally fall into line!

This made me giggle aloud. We have "T", too -- my mom didn't believe we actually called him that 'til she heard it on the phone one night. :-)

awww sooo cute! So reminds me of myself at 3. But my artistic passion was cutting off people's heads on purpose. My parents would tell me not to and I would say it looked better than way and I meant to and went on to prove I knew how to take them with heads on the person.
