I’m a self-taught photographer and I’ve had the honor of photographing hundreds of families and babies all across Austin, Texas for more than SIX years now (wow…has it been that long?). I also teach professional lifestyle photographer workshops to photographers from all over the world.
Before we meet, you might like to know that:
- I will most likely hug you when I see you. And when I leave.
- I went to a technology-centered high school, but I actually wanted to be on Broadway.
- This career is way better.
- I have three young children and an amazing husband who does EVERYTHING to keep this household running smoothly.
- If it weren’t for my husband, I would probably starve.
- I’m a night owl. Don’t be surprised to get an e-mail from me at 3 a.m.
- You would probably beat me at poker. I do NOT have the ability to hide my emotions and it will be quite apparent at your session.
- I may seem scatter-brained at times, but that’s only because there are too many ideas bouncing around in my head.
- I use bullet points like they’re going out of style. They make me feel all neat and tidy.
- I get really excited when I see beautiful light or a beautiful moment between people.
- I’m fun-loving and jovial, but I like to get down to business when I’m on a mission.
- I get emotionally tied to every session. I have to. I couldn’t do this otherwise.

Michele, I love looking at your blog. I seriously check it everyday! You are the most amazing photographer. I cannot wait for you to take pictures of Carson. We love staring at the Maternity Photos you did for us. You are truly gifted. And this little doll is just precious!
