Sleeping bean.

I seriously doubt newborn sessions get any easier than this. Oh, these kiddos were beautiful. And this little snuggle bug...well, the only bad thing about my job is having to remind myself we're not having more babies (are you sure, honey?). Thanks for a great session today. These two kiddos couldn't have been any better.

Good and bad news: I am now booked up for the remainder of 2007. I will accept newborn sessions on limited basis (held within 2 weeks of birth). Please contact me as soon as possible if you need to arrange a newborn session during this time.

Meanwhile, I'm taking this time to revamp the website and create new fun stuff for Pinkle Toes. I am also in the process of developing a new pricing structure that should make everyone's lives just a little bit easier. I think you'll be pleased.

Urban Maternity

Oh, wow! What a fun session tonight! I just love the energy and the lights and the feel of downtown. And such a great couple, too! You two were so cute and so willing and I had a blast! Hope you enjoy your sneak peek and can't wait to meet the little one.

All dressed up...

...and oh so thrilled about it. Words can't describe how I felt to see my boys in tuxedos for the first time. They will be escorting my mom down the aisle at my little sister's wedding this fall. I imagine I will have a time of it juggling my boquet, my camera, and my kleenex.

WHAT????!!! Yes! It's true. (Isn't she cute?) A reminder, if you're interested in booking a holiday session you must contact me by August 31st. Your session date cannot be secured until the Reservation Fee is paid, so make sure you get that sent in if you've already arranged a date.

Once these holiday sessions are booked, I will hunker down for the remainder of 2007 to prepare those beautiful holiday cards and gifts...which means no more regular sessions this year. I will, however, still be available for newborn and birth sessions. All other sessions will be scheduled in 2008 (wow!).

Can you think of a family or individual that would treasure a portrait session, but for whatever reason, does not have the means to do so? This holiday season, I will be giving away a complimentary portrait session and CD collection to one deserving family.

You can help make this happen by nominating a family for this gift. Please send an e-mail to me describing the family and the reasons why you think a family portrait session would benefit them. Be as detailed as you need to be. Touch my heart.

I will announce on the blog when the winner is chosen, but will not reveal the actual winner for privacy reasons.

Detailed rules for submissions are as follows:

-Please e-mail your submissions to michele@pinkletoes.com.
- You cannot nominate yourself or your own family.
-All submissions must be received by September 30th.

- The family must be located in the Austin area.

- The session will cover no more than 6 people within that immediate family.

- The winning family session must be held in November 2007.

- I will notify the person who nominated the family on or before October 5th. This person will need to assist me in contacting the winning family to arrange the session.

- The winning family will receive a 1-3 hour photo session on location and a CD of the proofed images from that session.

- You only need to submit your entry once.

- You can nominate more than one family, but please send separate e-mails.

- I will determine the winner and all decisions are final.

- Prize is not transferrable; no substitutions; no cash value.

- There is no purchase necessary to nominate.

- If I an unable to contact the nominating person or the nominated family, another winner will be selected.

Sugar and Spice

This little one was *all* girl, down to her very particular taste in shoes (notice the flip-flops). Oh, she was so much fun and so in to pretending. Very serious with the baby doll. Such a lovely and comfortable family. It was a pleasure today!

Home again!

The reason for my lack of internet access was due to a *much needed* and long overdue vacation and some time well-spent with my family. So sad that summer is winding down. Hope you all were able to enjoy some quality summer time with your own families.
